From idea to working prototype.

RPL is AGAMI's core — the upstream partner who takes a hard technical idea from concept to working prototype, proving feasibility before you commit to full-scale productization. We're not a vendor for off-the-shelf systems; we assemble a project-specific team from our international network for problems that don't yet have a known solution.

How we work

One path, low commitment to start.

Most engagements follow the same path. The research-to-proposal stage is deliberately short, so a partner can test a direction before deciding how far to take it.

01

Idea or problem

You bring a hard technical question — often one without a known solution yet.

02

Research & proposal

We scope the approach and propose a path — typically within 1–3 months.

03

Proof of concept

We build a working prototype that proves — or disproves — feasibility.

04

Productize, or continue

Most prototypes transfer to you for product planning. Some continue with us as a longer-term build partner.

⏱ Typical research-to-proposal cycle: 1–3 months
Where our work concentrates

Four capability domains.

Most real engagements span more than one of these.

Signature

Remote Robotics & Teleoperation

Cloud middleware for operating and monitoring robots and heavy machinery from a distance — operator pools, multi-camera site monitoring, plug-and-play robot interfaces, near-real-time command exchange.

Industrial Automation & Intelligent Control

Control algorithms and runtime monitoring for industrial equipment — sway and position control, collision and fault detection, path planning, production-health alerting.

Connected Devices & Cloud Systems

End-to-end device-plus-cloud builds — secure identity terminals, payment and attendance infrastructure, remote equipment health monitoring, distributed management systems.

Applied AI & Perception

Perception and classification at the edge and in analysis pipelines — stereo-vision navigation, quality classification, prediction and anomaly-detection models.

Selected work

A range of problems, not a full list.

Much of our work is confidential and transferred to clients for productization. Client identities below are anonymized for this draft.

Industrial automation

Tower Crane Automation

Construction equipment manufacturer

A generic control algorithm automating tower-crane operation — load moved to a target within centimetre accuracy while suppressing sway, validated on cable lengths over 100 m and cited as an industry first. Now used on real construction sites.

Teleoperation

Agamon — Telepresence Robot

AGAMI in-house

A remotely operated robot for entertainment and communication, demonstrated publicly including national broadcast coverage. An upgraded version is in active development.

Teleoperation

Remote Robot Teleoperation Demo

Robotics exposition partner

Remote monitoring and task assignment for a two-handed assembly robot, demonstrated live at a major robotics exposition.

Remote robotics

Modular Remote-Operated Robotics

Government-funded research program

A move from monolithic robots to plug-and-play modules with a multi-modal remote interface — the prototype helped secure new government-backed research funding.

Applied AI

Fruit Quality Classifier

Agricultural sector client

An intelligent classifier for fruit quality grading, developed alongside on-site field trials. Proof of concept in active development.

13 of 20 past engagements are confidentiality-restricted. Outcomes span prototypes transferred for productization, systems adopted into live product lines, and infrastructure in continuous public service for over a decade.

Collaboration model

How a partnership is structured.

What this looks like depends on the stage and intent of the work.

Design & Prototyping

Scoped research and a working proof of concept.

Technology Development Partnership

We continue as the build partner through to a deployable system.

Promotion Partnership

Joint demonstration and positioning of a developed system.

Investing Partnership

A shared stake in taking a concept to market.

Where RPL sits

The Lab is AGAMI’s technical foundation.

RPL is AGAMI's research-and-build domain — where ideas are investigated, prototyped, and taken toward deployable systems. The consulting tracks can stand alone as assessment and roadmap services; when a client decides to build, the Lab provides the engineering path.

Have a hard problem worth prototyping?

If you already know what needs to be built, you don't need to start with a consultancy check — serious build clients can come straight to the Lab.
